The Role

This full-time permanent opportunity will provide you with the opportunity to join a small and very close-knit finance team, reporting directly to the Company Accountant. This a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a large National, business and work with a highly supportive and high performing team that is very stable and well tenured, where everyone’s input is highly valued and supported. The position suits a hungry, ambitious and technically astute Assistant Accountant who is looking to further advance their carer and accounting skillset.

Your primary duties will comprise of:

• Fixed assets
• Statutory reporting
• Budgeting/forecasting
• Accruals
• Journals
• Assist with monthly management reports
• G/L + B/S recs
• P/L/Cash flow forecasting
• Intercompany reconciliations
• FBT processing
• Upload Bank payments
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with end of month/year reporting
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

About You

A team player and self-starter, you will be a highly competent part CPA/CA or a fully CPA/CA qualified Assistant Accountant. Ideally you will have minimum 3-5 years’ industry experience in a large company across the main accounting functions in G/L + BS Recs, Cash flow, fixed asset, and Statutory reporting.

Ideally you will have had some exposure in working within the Manufacturing sector in a stock/inventory environment, however candidates from other industries are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will obtain the following attributes:
