Marketing, Communications & Events Manager x 2
MCWA is seeking two part-time Marketing, Communications & Events Managers to develop and deliver marketing, communications, and event strategies that enhance community engagement, promote services, and support our mission in the aged care sector.
These roles are best suited to marketing generalists with broad experience spanning both strategy and execution. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) increasing brand awareness, strengthening community engagement, stakeholder communications, creating artwork, and delivering fundraising and marketing campaigns, while also planning and managing organisational events.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies aligned with MCWA's strategic goals.
• Manage and grow MCWA’s digital presence, including the website, social media, newsletters, and email campaigns.
• Create content and collateral, including brochures, flyers, reports, and presentations.
• Develop and maintain the organisation's tone and voice.
• Coordinate media and public relations activities, including press releases and media liaison.
• Plan and deliver community, stakeholder, and fundraising events.
• Support brand consistency and organisational messaging across all channels.
• Work collaboratively with service delivery teams to promote programs and services.
• Manage relationships with MCWA partners.
• Maintain the look and feel of MCWA’s brand.
• Manage relationships with third-party providers to develop promotional material and coordinate printing.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on marketing and event outcomes.
• Develop annual marketing and communication plans and budgets.
Key Selection Criteria
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the not-for-profit or aged care/community sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write engaging content for different audiences.
• Experience in planning and delivering successful events.
• Demonstrated ability to manage marketing and communications across various channels and platforms.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and website content management systems.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
• High-level organisational and project management skills.
• An understanding of, and commitment to, culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
