Marketing & Events Manager – Wonthaggi Workmen’s Club Connect. Create. Celebrate.

We’re on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Marketing & Events Manager to join the leadership team at Wonthaggi Workmen’s Club. In this dynamic and creative role, you'll be a part of the driving force behind all marketing initiatives, club promotions, member communications, and our wide range of events and functions.

You’ll work closely with the General Manager to execute engaging campaigns, deliver memorable experiences, and keep our members informed and connected. From digital content creation to event logistics, this is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, community-driven venue.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the General Manager to coordinate and deliver successful events and functions

Develop and implement promotional campaigns for social and member activities

Manage marketing communications across channels (newsletters, EDMs, web, social media)

Maintain and update the Club’s website and digital presence

Lead the development and design of in-club advertising, collateral, and content

Conduct market research and contribute to branding and growth initiatives

Perform administrative duties including mailouts, RSVPs, follow-ups, and member engagement

Assist with membership management, including renewals, enquiries, and relationship building

What We’re Looking For

Background in marketing, communications, or events management

Strong writing, content creation, and digital communication skills

Experience managing websites, social media, and digital platforms

Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail

A collaborative team player with a customer-first mindset

Warm communicator who builds rapport easily with members and stakeholders
