Marketing
· Develop the External Marketing Communications plan for the school in conjunction with the Principal Team.
· Manage the brand identity of the school including maintaining of consistent assets such as colours, logos, stationery and merchandise.
· Design and/or work with stakeholders to manage and/or build the school website, in-line with brand guidelines and communications strategy
· Maintain website content updates including all pages and sections that represent the branding and promotional aspects of the school
· Manage the TC Social Media Accounts including permissions, content creation, scheduling and analytics.
Communications
· Ongoing development and maintenance of key internal information and documentation on the website
· Preparation of the Newsletter with production of termly editions, liaising with multiple stakeholders across the community for articles and photos.
· Noticeboards and Classroom Information: Maintaining the display of up to date of school maps, emergency evacuation documents, and philosophy throughout the school and ensuring current information on noticeboards around the school.
· Document management for VRQA and relevant school and DE policies.
· Producing the Next Week @ TC communication.
· Updating and maintaining the staff handbook.
Customer Service (Attendance)
· Make proactive outbound phone calls to parents/carers of students with low attendance/high number of absences.
· Document reasons for absence and log attendance notes where relevant.
· Work with Community Executive Teams and relevant Assistant Principal on complex cases, offering support and making referrals as necessary.
· Analyse attendance data
Required Skills and Experience
· Qualifications in marketing, communications, design or equivalent relevant experience.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to plan, prioritise and organise schedules and work to deadlines that involve others.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
SC1 – Demonstrated experience in marketing and communications, including the development and implementation of strategic communication plans.
SC2 – Demonstrated proficiency in content creation and digital communication, including website management and social media platforms.
SC3 – High-level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional newsletters and internal communications.
SC4 – Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
SC5 – Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to engage with families, staff, and students in a supportive and respectful manner.
