Residential House & Land Package Estimator | Sydney-Based Role | Stable Pipeline

Avantaus Construction is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our residential team, specialising in house and land package projects across Greater Sydney.

This is a key role supporting the delivery of our masterplanned communities, with a focus on detached housing. You will contribute to the cost planning, tendering, and procurement processes that shape high-quality, affordable residential outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate BOQs, cost plans and tender submissions

Estimate for single and double-storey standardised residential house designs

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure pricing accuracy

Maintain cost libraries and participate in ongoing value engineering reviews

Ensure estimates align with construction drawings, specifications, and compliance requirements

Your Background:

3+ years of experience in residential house estimating, ideally within the Sydney market and with a volume builder

Solid knowledge of low-density housing typologies, local materials, and construction methodologies

Proficiency in estimating software such as Databuild, Buildsoft, or similar platforms

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Mandarin proficiency is valued for coordinating with offshore suppliers and supporting cross-cultural procurement
