About the role

Shun Wah Lawyers is seeking an experienced Solicitor/Paralegal to join our growing practice in Fortitude Valley, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

Provide legal advice and support to clients on a range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, property transactions, leases, wills and estates

Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist with the preparation of court documents

Manage client matters from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in law and admission to practice as a solicitor in Queensland

2-4 years of relevant experience in a legal or paralegal role, preferably within a law firm environment

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients

A proactive, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach to work

Proficiency in using legal software and technology to support efficient workflows

Ability to converse in Cantonese/ Mandarin an advantage
