What you'll be doing
This role supports cutting-edge research within the Echocardiography Research Lab in Westmead Hospital’s Cardiology Department, contributing to multi-centre clinical trials. In this role you will:
- Assist with offline echocardiographic measurements
- Support research activities and data analysis
- Contribute to multi-centre clinical trials
- Work within a leading cardiology research team
- Based at Westmead Hospital’s Cardiology Department

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Sonography or qualifications or equivalent competencies deemed equivalent by the employer.
Registration: Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated extensive experience in cardiac sonography, including stress echocardiography, speckle tracking echocardiography, 3D imaging.
- Previous experience in a research capacity, including recruiting patients, ethics submission, data analysis.
- Experience using multiple vendor system platforms.
- Previous experience with patients demonstrating professional and high level oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workflow and tasks.
- Computer competency.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
