About Us – Making Healthcare Friendlier
HeartBug is the friendliest heart monitoring service in Australia! We are growing fast and constantly expanding, so there are many opportunities for the future.
We really care about providing the very best service to our customers – clinics, hospitals, doctors, cardiologists and patients. We are enthusiastic and highly motivated. We have a friendly, easy-going and relaxed office, where we don't take ourselves too seriously and enjoy ourselves while delivering excellent service both internally and externally.
Our Headquarters are in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Hillsdale.
The Role:
We’re on the hunt for someone who’s part admin genius, part ECG whisperer, and 100% team player. You’ll be the vital link between our cardiac physiologists, clinics, and referring doctors.
What you’ll be doing:
Liaising with clinics and doctors about significant cardiac recordings over the phone.
Assisting our cardiac team with professional and timely communications.
Helping manage correspondences like a pro—organised, efficient, and accurate.
Applying your ECG know-how to spot what matters most.
Multitasking like a boss (think answering phones while typing and still remembering your coffee order).
Manage office systems, schedules, and documentation for the cardiac physiologist team.
Who you are:
You’re bright, mature, friendly, and know how to read the room (and a rhythm strip).
You’ve got at least 1 year of admin experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
You’re a Cardiac Nurse, Tech, or Physiologist (or close enough!) with basic ECG interpretation skills.
You’ve dabbled in Holter analysis, stress testing, and maybe even found a few surprises on a 12-lead.
You’re reliable, fun to work with, and serious about doing a great job.
You’re over the night shifts (we get it) and ready for a fresh, rewarding role with some routine.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, especially related to cardiology.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Mac.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
The is an office based role at HQ in Hillsdale. The hours are Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm.
How to Apply – Impress with your letter
Yes, send your resume BUT more importantly, write a one-page cover letter with as many reasons you can think of detailing why we should hire you and why you are the perfect addition to our dream team!
Applications that do not include a letter will be ignored!
Please don't apply if you are looking for casual or evening work or live overseas.
