About the Position
This is a hands-on leadership role where no 2 days are the same, ideal for someone passionate about hospitality and creating unique experiences for guests. As the Café Operations Manager, you'll oversee front-of-house service, daily operations, and a marketing portfolio that connects the venue with the wider community. With a salary of $90-100K and fully self-contained accommodation included, this is a lifestyle-focused role that allows you to lead with purpose in one of regional NSW's most scenic locations.
Position Description
- Oversee end-to-end café operations, customer service, and team management
- Coordinate onsite vents, both daily and special events
- Lead, roster, and train FOH staff to deliver a consistent, friendly experience
- Manage inventory, suppliers, POS systems, and ordering
- Maintain brand presentation, product quality, and in-venue storytelling
- Deliver and manage social media, marketing campaigns, and local promotions
- Work with the broader business team to align guest experience with brand vision
Position Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality operations, café, or venue management role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service and team mentoring capabilities
- Marketing and promotions experience (social media, events, and activations)
- Tech/computer literacy, including POS, scheduling, and communication tools
- Experience managing social media accounts across various channels (Instagram, Facebook)
- Qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Management, or Marketing/Tourism is highly regarded
