Your New Role
Senior School Support Officer/Administration role is a comprehensive administrative position at Holy Spirit School, Lavington. This role encompasses critical functions including office management, financial administration (such as school fees, creditor payments, and budget monitoring), and extensive customer and community relations, including daily social media posts. Additionally, the role provides direct administrative and event coordination support to the Principal and the school's leadership team.

Salary: Level 5 $41.97 per hour - Averaged (term-time only)
Essential Criteria
Support the ethos of Catholic Education and the School
Undertake duties as negotiated with the Principal and Office Manager
To monitor student non-attendance via correspondence to parents and share relevant information with the principal
To maintain staff and school online calendars
To type correspondence and reports as directed by the Principal
Assist with the monitoring of compliance requirements
Confident use of technology for information sharing, school promotion, maintenance of the school website and the creation of the school newsletter
Highly developed communication skills both verbal and written
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
An advanced level of word processing and database skills and ability to broaden computing experience with other packages, including the ability to review and verify data
Manage and dispense medication authorised by parents and maintain a Medication Register
Manage and update student Medical Records to be used across the school including an annual update
Audit and maintain office stationery needs and monitor photocopier use
A range of skills and strategies that enable an organised and efficient workplace
Support the well-being and life of the school as may be required
NSW Working with Children Check
Successful Candidate to undertake a National Criminal History Check
Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
Accreditation for Support Staff in a Catholic School (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.
