$37.95 per hour

The position will be on a six-month fixed term basis, with the potential for ongoing employment pending review.

Centacare is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Support Officer to support the vital work of our Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Services. Centacare operates seven high-quality OSHC services across the Bathurst, Orange and Mudgee region, offering care before school, after school, and during school holidays. About the Role

In this dynamic role, you will provide administrative, compliance, and financial support to the Manager of OSHC Services. Your work will help ensure the smooth operation of our services while responding to the needs of our school communities with compassion and professionalism. This role also offers the opportunity to occasionally support services on the ground, working directly with children to maintain compliance and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

Manage invoicing, payment plans, debt collection, and financial queries using Xplor

Maintain accurate enrolment data, child care subsidy records, and inclusion support program claims

Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes for new staff

Gather and report on service utilisation, financial performance, and customer feedback

Respond to family and staff inquiries with empathy and efficiency

Ensure compliance documentation is up to date and audit-ready

Step into service support roles when required, assisting with child ratios and daily operations

What You will Bring

Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in administration, business, or financial management

At least 3 years' experience as a Responsible Person in an Early Education & Care setting

Proficiency in systems like Xplor, Microsoft Office, and data processing tools

Strong communication and customer service skills

A high level of accountability, accuracy, and discretion

Essential Requirements

Current Working with Children Check and Criminal History Check

Driver’s Licence and eligibility to work in Australia

Willingness to uphold and work within the Catholic ethos of Centacare
