About the Role:

As a Part-Time Accountant at Strive, you'll be a key player in supporting our small business clients with both their compliance and advisory needs. You'll work collaboratively to provide clarity and create happier outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing company tax returns and other company compliance returns.

Generating insightful financial reports and analysis.

Conducting small business analytics to help clients understand their performance and identify growth opportunities.

Assisting with various compliance tasks and general accounting duties.

Collaborating with the Strive team to deliver outstanding client experiences.

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for a proactive, positive, and detail-oriented individual with a genuine desire to help small businesses thrive. The ideal candidate will possess:

Public Practice experience of 5+ years in a multi-client professional services environment.

A relevant accounting qualification (Diploma or above).

Current or previous Xero certification and 3+ years of high-level Xero experience.

Strong understanding and proven experience with Australian company tax returns and financial reporting.

Demonstrated ability to perform small business analytics and provide actionable insights.

Extensive experience in Australian small business accounting and bookkeeping, with a deep understanding of clients' needs, feelings, and pain points.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously while also being a collaborative team player.
