Plug Nickel is looking for a passionate, experienced Bar Manager to lead our small but mighty front-of-house team. Known for our curated cocktail list and rotating natural wines, we’re searching for someone who can bring both energy and leadership to our evolving evening trade.

About the Role

As Bar Manager, you will oversee the daily bar operations and work closely with the venue owner to deliver exceptional service. You’ll have creative input into our drinks program, maintain high service standards, and help grow the venue’s reputation as a top-tier nighttime spot.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire the bar and floor team with professionalism and warmth

Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships

Assist with staff rostering, recruitment, and training

Maintain compliance with RSA and health/safety regulations

Innovate and elevate the cocktail and beverage offering

Support and drive customer experience through personable, attentive service

About You

2+ years experience in a similar bar management or senior FOH role

A passion for cocktails, spirits, and natural wine

Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach

Organised, efficient, and calm under pressure

Flexible availability, especially nights and weekends

Current RSA essential

Must be able to work autonomously
