We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our 2025 Mid-Year Graduate Nurse Program intake within our Cancer Care program, commencing in September 2025.
This program is designed to provide you with a supportive, engaging, and rewarding transition into professional practice in a values-driven workplace.

11-month contract (47 weeks), 0.8 FTE with potential to negotiate up to 76 hours per fortnight
Opportunity to apply for a permanent position upon successful completion

As a Registered Nurse in the Graduate Program, you will:
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care that supports the physical and emotional wellbeing of patients
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to patient care planning
Communicate with empathy and professionalism with patients, families, and colleagues
Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans
Maintain exceptional standards in clinical documentation and compliance
Demonstrate commitment to reflective practice and lifelong learning
What makes a difference for us?
We’re seeking individuals who bring:
Bachelor of Nursing and AHPRA registration (or ability to obtain by September 2025)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Ability to work a rotating roster across 24/7 shift patterns
Excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills

Legal right to work in Australia (sponsorship not available)
Strong interest and desire to specialise in caring for patients with Cancer

It is a regional, not-for-profit hospital with 7 operating theatres, 3 procedure rooms and Toowoomba’s only Cardiac Catherisation Laboratory.
