The Senior Business Analyst Lead will facilitate the ICS BA practice by leading the identification, development, and adoption of business analysis practices, process templates, and tools, while coordinating team activities, peer reviews, and professional development opportunities.
The successful incumbent will manage the BA Team on the Recovery Program, partnering with FRV business service areas to define, plan, and scope business and system changes through process analysis and design.
Additionally, the Senior BA Lead will oversee the BA approach and activities on assigned projects, acting as an escalation point for defining system requirements (e.g., functional, non-functional), designing high-level solutions, and assisting in the testing and delivery of developed software as needed.
The role will also support the Recovery Program Leadership team in prioritising and ensuring that technology solutions align with the FRV ICT strategy.
This role is fixed term up to 30 June 2027.
About you
Our ideal successful candidate will possess the following:
Tertiary Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Certifications: IIBA/BABOK or equivalent certification (desirable).
Framework Knowledge: Understanding of project management and software development life cycle frameworks (e.g., Agile, PMBOK, PRINCE2) is desirable.
Business and Systems Analysis: Proven experience in business and systems analysis, including the production of system, process, and project documentation.
Requirements Development: Extensive experience in developing user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, and user documentation using various tools and techniques (e.g., Process/Data Modeling, UML/Use Cases).
Agile Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading agile teams and working with senior decision-makers to identify opportunities for process improvement and resolve complex problems.

FRV’s standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience
