Dr. Dermot Collopy, a distinguished Orthopaedic Surgeon, is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join his dynamic surgical practice. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated team that includes a part-time secretary (0.75), a practice nurse, a physiotherapist, and a clinical research assistant. The practice operates within a boutique orthopaedic group alongside three other surgeons, located in Subiaco, with a satellite clinic in Murdoch.

Essential Criteria:

Meticulous attention to detail with a committed work ethic.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.

Outstanding communication and patient service abilities.

Proven ability to work in a senior role within a team, fostering a positive and friendly work environment.

Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in medical practice software (Genie preferred).

Typing and audio transcription skills.

A valid driver’s license and personal transport (required for a Murdoch clinic rotation).
