Transform Lives as an Accredited Practising Dietitian with Feros Care
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an Accredited Practising Dietitian to join our homecare team! Based on the beautiful Gold Coast, this role involves working closely with our community clients and multidisciplinary care team, as well as providing virtual support when needed. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality nutritional care to older Australians. This is a permanent part-time position with flexible working arrangements (minimum 2 days per week), offering a great work-life balance in a supportive environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver in-home nutritional assessments, considering medical, cultural, and environmental factors
- Develop and manage personalised nutrition care plans in collaboration with clients and care teams
- Educate clients and carers on healthy ageing, chronic disease management, and nutrition best practices
- Promote independence through reablement and wellness-focused dietary support
- Provide expert advice on texture-modified diets, enteral nutrition, and specialised dietary needs
- Monitor progress, adjust plans, and contribute to multidisciplinary care discussions
- Ensure food safety in home settings and assist with meal planning, budgeting, and resource access

What We're Looking For
- An Accredited Practicing Dietician (APD) status with Dietitians Australia and tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working independently
- Strong knowledge of nutrition for older adults, chronic disease management, and reablement
- Proficient in digital systems and client management software
