About the Role
As the Program Delivery Manager, you’ll be responsible for the delivery, coordination, and monitoring of a culturally tailored mentoring program across multiple South Coast communities. You will work closely with local schools, community members, and stakeholders to ensure program success and meaningful engagement with Aboriginal students and families.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the planning, rollout, and delivery of the mentoring program across designated towns.
Ensure program outcomes align with cultural protocols, community expectations, and funding requirements.
Supervise and support program staff and volunteers from local high schools.
Track progress against KPIs, monitor outcomes, and provide timely reports to the General Manager and funding bodies, including the NIAA.
Build strong relationships with schools, Aboriginal communities, and local stakeholders.
Represent LMRDT Inc. at community meetings, school functions, and partner forums.
Ensure compliance with all safety, child protection, and legal obligations.
Key Performance Indicators
Timely and effective delivery of program activities.
Achievement of agreed targets (attendance, engagement, employment outcomes).
Strong, positive community and stakeholder feedback.
High compliance with policies and reporting standards.
About You
This is an Identified Position. Applicants must:
Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
Be accepted as such by the community in which they live or have lived.
Essential:
Confirmation of Aboriginality.
A relevant degree (or working towards one), or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Program or project management experience in education, youth, or community development.
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
WWCC or ability to obtain.
Valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel within the region.
Understanding of WHS and child safety obligations.
First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable:
Familiarity with school systems and the transition to high school.
Experience with government or philanthropic reporting.
Local knowledge of South Coast Aboriginal communities and networks.
