An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Associate to join a market-leading Environment & Planning team in Sydney. You’ll work on high-profile, complex matters across environmental law, planning approvals, ESG (including climate change, modern slavery, and nature-positive), contaminated land, water licensing, cultural heritage, and more.

In this role, you’ll draft and negotiate core transactional documents, provide strategic legal advice, conduct research on complex regulatory issues, and represent clients in state and federal courts. You'll work closely with leading practitioners while also mentoring junior lawyers.

What we’re looking for:

7+ years' PQE in environment and planning law (private practice)

Strong commercial focus and technical expertise

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Collaborative, energetic, and solutions-driven mindset

Experience mentoring junior lawyers
