The Senior Associate ensures alignment with the FNC vision that First Nations knowledges, ways of being and doing will improve outcomes for First Nations communities. This role facilitates the successful delivery of projects through project planning, scheduling activities, and resources, developing communication, consultation plans, collating and generating reports, and through supporting project managers to identify and manage project risks and issues.

The Senior Associate reports to the Senior Manager and provides direct support to ensure delivery of projects, including the application of a consistent project methodology and implementation of a consistent organisational project management approach. This role demands excellent communication skills, an understanding of project scope, deliverables and timeframes, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.

The Senior Associate role also requires a detailed understanding of project methodology, approach, systems, processes, and tools. This is a detail-oriented position that will require a high level of organisation, management of overlapping timelines, tracking of project deliverables, and effective problem-solving skills.
