Operational Technology Solutions (OTS) is working with a number of well-known, market leading electricity transmission and distribution businesses throughout Australia. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience with UIQ/SIQ and IEE/MTS.

The Role

The role which we are advertising for requires a highly driven and experienced Senior Project Manager who has delivered projects in the smart metering industry specifically with UIQ/SIQ and IEE/MTS applications.

You will be a natural collaborator and an excellent communicator, open to feedback and eager to work alongside high performing solution architects, business analysts and technical leads.

Experience and skills required

IEE and MTS Lifecycle Upgrade Project

Itron Enterprise Edition (IEE) is the meter data management system within our customer's Advanced Metering Infrastructure platform.

Itron Market Transaction Suite (MTS) has close interaction with IEE and is responsible for publishing meter data to the Market via a market gateway.

UIQ/SIQ Lifecycle Upgrade Project

Itron Utility IQ (UIQ) is a suite of software used in collection and management of meter consumption data – collectively referred to as the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Network Management System (NMS).

Itron SensorIQ (SIQ) SensorIQ is a back-office application for data collection and delivery that configures devices without requiring changes to the endpoint’s programming and provides power quality data from the Smart meters.

Project Management - Delivery of complex, time critical projects in the electricity distribution domain, with extensive technology delivery experience, including infrastructure and significant large application integration.

Working understanding of energy industry and technologies, including application integration, metering (Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Network Management System (NMS), and Distributed Energy Management Systems.

Experience in delivering multi-stream projects with multiple dependencies and managing change across business process and procedures.

All other Project Management activities, deliverables etc expected to meet great practice standards (Financial Management, Reporting, communication and stakeholder engagement, RAID, Project planning and scheduling. Etc)

Drive the successful delivery of projects within a tight timeline working closely with test and development teams to ensure seamless integration and timely progress.

The role will involve coordinating tasks, managing resources, and mitigating risks to keep the project on track. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, and ability to adapt to changing priorities will be crucial in achieving project goals.
