The opportunity

Acacia Hotel Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Multi-Hotel Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business and growth opportunities across our portfolio of hotels located in;

· East Melbourne

· Carlton

· Forest Hill

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement targeted sales and marketing strategies to generate new business leads and convert them into sales

Actively prospect and build relationships with potential corporate, leisure and group clients to secure new business

Manage and expand existing client accounts to maximise revenue and profitability

Collaborate with hotel operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive customer experience

Accurately track and report on sales activities, pipeline and performance metrics

Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to identify new business opportunities

In addition to managing the Hotels key accounts, you will also be expected to develop low-producing accounts to ideally convert them into key accounts for the Hotel.

What we're looking for

Experience in a similar business development or sales role

Strong track record of prospecting, negotiating and closing new business deals in the hospitality industry

Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Outstanding organisational and time management skills

Passion for the hospitality industry and a customer-centric approach

Experience and knowledge of Opera will be highly regarded
