We are looking for an experienced, caring, and reliable medical receptionist.

The Opportunity

Our front desk staff serve as the first point of contact for patients and play an essential role in our practice. As a Medical Receptionist, you will engage in various tasks throughout the day. You will provide professional support, and each day will bring new and challenging responsibilities. We offer onsite training for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.

We are looking for someone who is available to work 2-3 days a week initially, with the possibility of more hours for the right candidate. Based on your application, we are excited to offer a promising opportunity for a permanent position that could be a great match for you!

We offer great working hours - Shift hours vary, Monday - Friday

7.30 am-1.30 pm or 1.30 pm-6.30 pm

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Welcoming patients at the front desk with a friendly and kind demeanor.

Scheduling patient appointments and processing billing.

Responding to inquiries from patients and other medical professionals.

Preparing consultation rooms for patient visits.

Handling daily banking and various administrative tasks.

About you:

A friendly and warm demeanor.

A high level of attention to detail and excellent personal presentation.

Strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritise work according to urgency

A proactive and observant attitude.

Effective and respectful communication skills.

Flexibility to work during the week to cover for sick leave or annual leave.

Prior experience in a medical reception environment, ideally with Best Practice software.
