Queensland Yoghurt is a family owned business, producing a range of high quality yoghurts sold throughout Australia. Using premium ingredients including locally sourced milk the business supplies a range of customers with various flavoured, plain, stirred and pot-set yoghurt.

The business is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This person represents a key role in the business, playing a pivotal role in overseeing the supply planning process.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the supply planning process across a diverse product range. Your primary objective will be to work within the business forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels that align with customer demand. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive supply chain efficiencies, enhance planning accuracy, and maintain the various strategic and long-term supplier partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the efficient management of inventory through enhancing operational efficiency, optimising product costs, and supply chain efficiency

First point of contact for all customer orders through to receipt of goods

Procurement & supplier management including sourcing, navigating supply chains and negotiating with local suppliers

Oversee the maintenance of data integrity and item creation process to ensure reliable data for planning, procurement, and reporting functions

Quality assurance through managing supplier performance and addressing any performance issues

Support new product development projects from concept to launch through collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales

Desired Experience

3+ years of experience in a high-quality supply chain planning, procurement or category management environment ideally in FMCG or a similar industry
