Job Description – Supply Chain and Office Administrator

BlockTexx® is a clean technology company which diverts unwanted textiles away from landfill and converts the fabrics into high value raw materials for reuse. Polyester and cellulose are recovered from textiles and clothing via a commercial scale, fibre separation process and transformed into valuable raw materials. The state-of-the-art textile recovery facility is located in the Logan region of Brisbane.
Job Summary:
This role merges logistics administration with dynamic office support to ensure the smooth running of business operations. This position requires a proactive approach in assisting with tasks across departments, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Logistics Administration Support
Assist with data entry for spreadsheets and forms, including invoicing and documentation within the IMS.
Gather data, prepare detailed reports, and ensure accurate documentation for internal reporting.
Administration Duties
Managing the reception area including front gate access and welcoming visitors
Handling company correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and packages
Organizing meetings, scheduling appointments, and overseeing catering during events, including booking travel arrangements, were required.
Perform general office duties, including cleanliness and ordering stock.
Assist with onboarding new employees. - Emailing information /Calling
Provide customer resources tailored to their needs
Utilising dedicated software programs – Pipedrive/Microsoft software suite/ Inventory Management System.
CRM, Update customer details and run reports - follow-up customer tasks
Onsite sample testing - Create and manage files for the lab
Assist with quotes and contracts for customers
Create Decommissioning document for our NDIS, Social Enterprise and Corrections Partnerships
Collaborate seamlessly across all business units to foster effective communication and ensure operational success
Customer Service
Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
Maintain active communication channels with customers to tailor solutions effectively.
Onboarding New Customers
Assist with the onboarding process, ensuring new customers are fully integrated and operational.
Facilitate onboarding meetings via teams.
Qualifications/Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in office administration and customer service.
Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva).
Ability to independently manage tasks while collaborating effectively within a team.
Working Conditions This position may require occasional travel to supplier and customer locations. The role may involve working outside regular business hours to meet deadlines and manage urgent administrative deadlines.
