DWS are looking for an experienced Test / QA Manager. Are you a seasoned Test / QA Manager with a passion for quality assurance and a proven track record in leading testing activities for complex system implementations? We’re looking for a dynamic and collaborative professional to join our team in Melbourne on a Max Term basis.

Salary: up to $180K (inc super), depending on experience

About the Role:
As the Test / QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all testing activities across a medium to large-scale system implementation. You will lead a team of testers and business stakeholders using a servant leadership approach, ensuring that testing processes are robust, efficient, and aligned with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage testing activities across the project lifecycle
• Develop and maintain the Test Strategy and Test Governance framework
• Apply a risk-based testing approach to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Manage various testing types: system, integration, regression, compatibility, penetration, accessibility, and performance
• Support Business teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Verification Testing (PVT)
• Prepare and maintain test artefacts, including test plans, status reports, and defect triage documentation
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to Agile project delivery
• Perform manual testing when required to meet project timelines

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience managing testing activities for medium to large system implementations
• Proven leadership in managing testers and business stakeholders using a servant leadership model
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and related tools (e.g., Browser Stack, Test and Feedback)
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders, including those in offsite locations
• Experience in planning and executing integration and user acceptance testing with multiple external stakeholders
• Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills
