About the Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and risk management. You'll lead a small team and act as the key tax advisor across the business, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Group's tax compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop and implement tax strategies, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Manage tax risks, audits, and transfer pricing documentation.
• Provide strategic tax advice on business initiatives, transactions, and projects.
• Prepare and review income tax returns, tax effect accounting entries, and reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements and ensure best practices in tax operations.
• Deliver insightful tax reporting and analysis to senior leadership and the Board.
• Mentor and develop tax team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

About You

You are a commercially minded tax professional with a strong technical foundation and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are confident engaging with senior stakeholders and external advisors.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Taxation; CPA/CA preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in direct and indirect tax compliance, ideally in a corporate or advisory setting.
• Strong knowledge of tax effect accounting and risk management.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with international tax and transfer pricing is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and finance systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
