Sharp & Carter has partnered with an established and successful property developer that is internationally recognised. With an enviable internal culture, they are now seeking a technically strong and high-calibre Accountant to assist with driving improvements in financial and management reporting.

The Role | Reporting into Financial Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Month end reporting and analysis
• Prepare and manage annual budgets and quarterly forecasting
• Prepare P&L and Balance Sheet reports
• Prepare Statutory Reporting
• Maintain fixed asset registers
• Manage Accounts Payable / Accounts receivable
• Assist with audits
• Completing Tax Returns, BAS and tax provisions
• Ad hoc reporting

Candidate Profile

You are studying towards or a fully qualified CA/CPA, having commenced your career in the chartered environment or having gained experience in a similar commercial organisation. Your interpersonal and communication skills are exceptional, consistently displaying a willingness to provide ongoing support to all key stakeholders. You will have demonstrated strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. This role is ideal for a Financial Accountant or experienced Assistant Accountant looking for a step up.

Prior experience with Xero would be highly advantageous but not essential.

Please Note - This role is initially starting as a 18 month Fixed Term Contract role with a very clear transition to a permanent role.
