Remedial / Insurance Estimator - Dubbo, NSW (Trade Background Encouraged)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and practical individual to join a leading player in the remedial and insurance building industry. Based in Dubbo, NSW, this is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tradesperson looking to make a career shift into estimating and project scoping within the insurance and remedial construction sector.

You'll work closely with project managers and clients to assess property damage, prepare accurate scopes of work, and support timely delivery of repairs. This role is ideal for someone who's hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to develop professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend site inspections and assess property damage
• Prepare accurate scopes and estimates for insurance and remedial works
• Liaise with contractors, clients, and insurers throughout the project life-cycle
• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards
• Assist in managing project costs and time lines

About You

• Trade qualified (carpentry, plastering, painting, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills and construction knowledge
• Great communication and client liaison abilities
• Comfortable with technology - estimating software or willing to learn
• Motivated to build a career in estimating/project coordination
• Valid driver's licence
