Leading Hand Carpenter

About the Role:

Building Response Australia is seeking a motivated and professional Leading Hand Carpenter to join our Brisbane-based team. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and exceptional client service, and we value staff who are passionate about their work.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, take pride in their work, and prioritise getting the job done right the first time. Our focus is on quality, not rushing deadlines.

You will need:

• Minimum 2-4 years post apprenticeship experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to work autonomously and be self driven within a team environment
• Ability to take initiative and effectively prioritise tasks and time.
• Experience working within insurance repairs
• Understanding of quality principles and skill base
• Ability to identify and remedy defects that may affect the quality of your finished product.
• High level of attention to detail
• Have a reliable trade vehicle and hold a valid manual driver’s licence (Company car may be available also)
• Necessary tools
• Be passionate about your work and maintain a motivated, enthusiastic attitude.
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and consistently be punctual.
• Maintain a neat appearance and possess strong interpersonal skills.
