Leading Hand Carpenter / Site Supervisor – Renovation Specialist

Oztown Constructions is a dynamic, fast-growing renovation company based in North Brisbane, and we’re on the lookout for an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter / Site Supervisor to take the lead on our high-end residential projects. The Role:

This full-time position, based in Northern Brisbane, offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule—no weekends and minimal overtime.

Hands-on carpentry work across high-quality home renovations

Supervise sites and coordinate trades day-to-day

Work independently and manage small teams onsite

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget

What You’ll Need:

Qualified Carpenter with over 2 years of hands-on experience in residential construction projects

QBCC Carpentry Licence

Strong carpentry background, especially in renovations and extensions

Confidence supervising and running renovation projects independently

Your own tools capable of carrying out all aspects of carpentry

A reliable, presentable ute (able to tow a trailer)

Ability to problem-solve and adapt to renovation challenges

Well-presented, punctual, and client-focused

Competitive hourly rate ($40–$60/hr) based on experience and skill, weekly pay

8-hour workdays with regular RDOs

3-week Christmas shutdown
