We’re looking for a Leading Hand Electrician to step into a pivotal role—leading our electrical maintenance team while being hands-on with preventative maintenance, fault finding, and new installations. What You’ll Be Doing As the Leading Hand Electrician, you will:

• ✅ Lead & Support the Team: Mentor and supervise the electrical maintenance crew to ensure high performance and strong team cohesion.
• ⚙️ Install & Commission New Lines: Take the lead on electrical work during expansion projects, including the commissioning of new production lines.
• ��️ Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: Keep production running smoothly through planned maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns.
• �� Diagnose Complex Faults: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across a range of industrial systems and equipment.
• �� Ensure Safety & Compliance: Maintain all work to AS/NZS standards and ensure safe electrical practices across the site.
• �� Coordinate Shifts & Workload: Oversee task management and communication across rotating shifts.

What We’re Looking For

• �� Qualified Electrician – Certificate III in Electrotechnology + current Electrical Mechanic Licence (QLD)
• �� Industrial Experience – Proven background in manufacturing or production environments (FMCG experience HIGHLY REGARDED)
• �� Tech-Savvy – Solid understanding of PLCs, VSDs, SCADA, and instrumentation
• �� Natural Leader – Previous experience in a team lead or mentoring capacity within a maintenance team
• �� Proactive & Detail-Oriented – Organised, hands-on, and safety-focused with strong troubleshooting skills
• �� Team Player – Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments
