We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our construction team. This role involves working on a range of residential projects including new home builds, renovations, and the construction of decks and pergolas. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of construction techniques, and experience with both structural and finishing carpentry.

Key Responsibilities:

Show a strong sense of initiative and reliability when onsite

Interpret plans and specifications to complete framing, fix-outs, and fit-offs

Construct timber frames, floors, roofing, decks, pergolas, and other outdoor structures

Construction of residential properties using steel frames

Perform renovations and upgrades to existing homes, including demolition and rebuilding

Collaborate with site managers, trades, and clients to ensure quality and timelines are met

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised worksite

Requirements:

Proven carpentry experience in residential construction (Certificate III in Carpentry). Further certification is advantageous

Ability to read and interpret plans and building codes

Strong work ethic, reliability, responsibility and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Hold a valid driver’s licence

Undergo a three month trial period

Salary Information:

Salary of between $75,000 - $110,000 plus Super

Travel fare allowances based on award

Possibility to obtain a company vehicle after trial period is successful
