About the Role:
As a Leading Hand Carpenter, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site carpentry activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standard. You will work closely with our project team, trades, and clients to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and subcontractors on-site

Read and interpret plans and specifications for custom residential builds

Coordinate with trades to ensure timely project delivery

Maintain strict safety standards and promote a safe work environment

Conduct quality inspections and resolve any issues promptly

Manage on-site materials and ensure efficient usage

Collaborate with builders and clients to meet project expectations

Mentor and support junior team members, sharing expertise and best practices

Liaise with project managers and other trades to coordinate workflow

What You’ll Bring:

Minimum of 3+ years qualified experience in residential carpentry

Proven leadership and team management skills

Own tools and reliable transportation

Strong problem-solving and communication abilities

Health and Safety certifications (White Card, others advantageous)

Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
