Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager (Direct Sales) to join a growing digital media team in Sydney, Australia. This role is ideal for professionals with 4 to 9 years of experience in digital advertising who have owned and successfully managed B2B client portfolios. You will be responsible for end-to-end account growth, client engagement, and delivering strong campaign performance across Reddit’s advertising platform.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage a portfolio of B2B direct advertising clients.
Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and client stakeholders.
Create and execute custom, data-driven strategies aligned with client goals.
Monitor and optimize campaign performance using analytics and insights.
Maintain accurate client records, forecasts, and communication through CRM systems.
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, operations) to ensure seamless execution.
Educate clients on ad products, platform strengths, and audience behavior.
Key Skills & Requirements
4–9 years of experience in B2B account management, digital media, or marketing.
Proven track record of owning client portfolios and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of digital advertising trends and the competitive landscape.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and drive ROI-based strategy.
Skilled in CRM platforms and performance reporting tools.
Familiarity with audience behaviour and online communities is a plus.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred.
Strong ownership mindset, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Resilient, adaptable, and a strong team player.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Salary
AUD $80,000 – $120,000 per annum
Salary is open to negotiation based on skills and relevant experience.
