Queensland Cricket and the Brisbane Heat are on the lookout for a driven and organised Commercial Operations Coordinator to join our team. If you're passionate about sport, and love bringing events, partnerships, and programs to life - we want to hear from you.

About the role:
This dynamic role supports the execution of Queensland Cricket's commercial programs, with a key focus on events, sponsorship and membership coordination. Day-to-day, this might look like coordinating player appearances, responding to membership enquiries, arranging venue signage and championing commercial initiatives like QC's TAFE Program. You'll work cross-functionally with our Commercial & Marketing Team to deliver our partners, members and supporters and outstanding experience, and ensure everything from QC Foundation events to game day, runs seamlessly.

You'll be a hands-on, go-getting, natural problem-solver who's mastered the art of wrangling curveballs and juggling competing priorities. You'll know how to bring a sense of fun to the task at hand, while never dropping the ball on our high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Need more specifics? Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a point of contact across a range of QC partnerships and programs
  • Assist with planning and hands-on execution of major events such as Brisbane Heat WBBL/BBL game days
  • Provide support for Corporate Membership and foundation events - from planning to set up and pack down
  • Coordinate membership programs, including renewals, communication, fulfilment, and customer support
  • Contribute to content planning and campaign calendars in partnership with the digital and comms team
  • Provide general admin support and collaborate across teams to keep things running smoothly

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience in sports, events, or commercial operations
  • Strong coordination, communication, and multitasking skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and willingness to learn
  • Bring excellent administration, self-organisation and digital literacy skills
  • Hold, or ability to obtain a working with children check (QLD Blue Card).

Continuous learning is encouraged and celebrated at QC; formal tertiary qualifications (or working towards) are beneficial, but not a barrier to success. Similarly, an understanding of, or experience in the education and/or sports (ideally cricket-specific!) industry is helpful in this role

What's in it for you?

Build your skills in a high-growth professional environment. Work in a dynamic, flexible and progressive workplace that is committed to giving you the opportunities you deserve. Enjoy the fun of professional sport and the rewards of contributing to your community. Take advantage of the employee benefits on offer, including learning and development opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and the odd ticket to the cricket (because too much cricket is never enough).
