What You’ll Do:

· Develop and implement strategic fleet management plans aligned with the company's transportation goals, service efficiency, and long-term growth objectives.

· Oversee the complete fleet lifecycle, including vehicle procurement, routine and preventive maintenance, registration, and adherence to all transport-related laws, safety standards, and industry regulations.

· Drive operational efficiency by introducing cost-saving measures, route optimisation strategies, and usage tracking systems to reduce fuel and maintenance expenses.

· Lead the transition toward sustainable transport solutions, such as integrating electric and hybrid vehicles into the fleet to reduce environmental impact and meet green compliance targets.

· Cultivate strong working relationships with internal departments (such as logistics, dispatch, and finance) and external stakeholders, including vehicle suppliers, maintenance contractors, and transport authorities.

· Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the fleet operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and performance improvement.

· Manage fleet budgets and utilise data-driven insights (e.g., telematics reports, fuel usage statistics, and maintenance logs) to guide strategic decisions and enhance service delivery.

The ideal candidate should have:

· Proven experience (1-2 years) in fleet management

· Qualification in business or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

· Demonstrated experience in fleet management, policy, projects or related fields.

· Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

· Exceptional analytical skills, able to interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions.

· Offering outstanding customer service and you consider the entire customer experience.

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Knowledge of computer skills and inventory management tools

· Problem-solver with a can-do attitude
