About the role

This is a casual role required across 7 days and major holiday periods that will see you coordinating the fleet management operations for Escape Discovery Adventures, a leading provider of day tour travel experiences. Based in Port Melbourne, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the fleet of vehicles supporting our tours are exceptionally well-maintained and ready to provide a quality and safe experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Cleaning vehicles - interior and exterior (hand and/or external location) before morning departures

Liaising with mechanics and service providers to coordinate repairs and ensure vehicles are back on the road as quickly as possible (including waiting whilst servicing is completed)

Conducting regular safety and compliance checks on all vehicles

Re-stocking vehicles with guest consumables and touring requirements

Providing support to the operations team to ensure our fleet is available when and where it's needed

Maintaining detailed records of all fleet activities and condition as required

What we're looking for

Responsible, fit, mature individual with an exceptional driving record

Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise and multitask and work unsupervised

Basic technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures (e.g. fluid levels)

Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Exceptional attention to detail

Flexibility - ability to work at short notice as required.

A current full driver's licence and the flexibility to work shifts as required (mainly early morning)
