Store Development Coordinator - 12 month fixed term contract
Adore Beauty has shaped the landscape of Australian beauty e-commerce for over two decades. As we continue to grow, we’re expanding into physical retail, bringing our customer-first approach to a new format. This next chapter is an exciting opportunity to evolve our brand experience, and we’re looking for a capable and energetic Store Development Coordinator to help make it happen. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of new stores across Australia, ensuring each one is completed on time, on budget, and to a consistently high standard.
This role reports to the Group Store Development Manager and will support store rollout and development for both brands — Adore Beauty and iKOU.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced, hands-on coordination role where no two days look the same. One week you might be scoping a new site with landlords, the next, you’re overseeing fixture deliveries, tracking defect lists, and helping prepare a store for opening day. You’ll work closely with teams across design, operations, and marketing to make sure each store feels considered, customer-ready, and uniquely Adore.
You’ll manage multiple moving parts, liaise with external partners, and keep stakeholders aligned across construction, design, operations and marketing. Some interstate travel and occasional out-of-hours work during key phases is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end delivery of new store projects, managing timelines, trackers, and stakeholder communication
- Prepare site evaluations and due diligence reports, including demographic insights and compliance requirements
- Liaise with landlords, centre management, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Manage fixture, equipment and technology deliveries, and track defect rectification through to completion
- Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation, including status reports, budgets and project plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, HR, IT and Operations to ensure seamless store openings
Who You Are:
You’re a proactive doer who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments. Naturally organised, you take pride in bringing structure and clarity to complex projects and enjoy seeing things through to completion. You communicate clearly and confidently, keeping stakeholders aligned and informed at every stage. You’re comfortable managing multiple projects across different locations and teams, and you remain calm under pressure, quickly finding solutions when things don’t go to plan.
You bring:
- Experience in project coordination or retail development (beauty, fashion or lifestyle preferred)
- Practical knowledge of construction timelines, retail operations and leasing terminology
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and project tracking tools
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- A full Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel interstate
Working at Adore Beauty – Perks & Benefits
- Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options
- A fabulous new St Kilda Road HQ
- 40% team discount and access to heavily discounted salon treatments
- Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning
- Employee-led diversity and inclusion initiatives
