We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract/Service Administrator to join our growing team in Tennant Creek This role is key to supporting the successful delivery of our Service Provider contract covering maintenance of indigenous communities in the Barkly region. What You will Be Doing:
Contract Administration: Manage all administrative aspects of the contract including job entry, work order creation, scheduling, and invoicing.
Data Entry & Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of jobs, site activity, and financials.
Site & Works Coordination: Monitor and coordinate work across multiple sites, ensuring timely and quality delivery of services.
Team Coordination: Work closely with the operations and technical teams to allocate tasks and coordinate resources effectively.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related queries and information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Cost & Funding Management: Track and monitor the usage of allocated funding, ensuring all expenditures are within budget and aligned with contractual requirements.
Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports on contract performance, financials, and service delivery outcomes.
Acquittals: Complete acquittals of funds in line with funding body requirements and deadlines.
Logistics & Planning: Organize logistics for site visits, including travel, accommodation, and coordination with community stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years of experience in contract administration, service coordination, or a related role—preferably in a housing, maintenance, or government-funded services environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience working in remote or regional contexts, ideally with Aboriginal communities, is highly desirable.
Competency in Microsoft Office and other job management or reporting software systems.
Demonstrated experience in cost tracking, budgeting, and acquittals.
Qualifications:
Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration, Project Management, Contract Management or similar discipline
Current manual drivers licence
White Card
Working With Children Check (OCHRE Card)
Desirable Skills:
· Cultural awareness and sensitivity in working with Aboriginal communities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
