About the Position

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating transport operations while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key duties include:

Plan and schedule daily transport routes and delivery timelines

Respond to customer enquiries and manage service requests

Handle freight bookings, manifests, and documentation

Liaise with transport providers and internal teams for smooth operations

Monitor delivery performance and resolve discrepancies

Prepare quotes and assist with invoicing and reporting tasks

Key Responsibilities Include

Ensure timely and efficient freight movements

Provide frontline customer support via phone and email

Maintain accurate consignment and manifest documentation

Collaborate with the Contract Manager on process improvements

Support compliance and KPI reporting activities

Skills and Experience Required

Experience in a logistics or customer service role (transport industry desirable)

Strong knowledge of freight scheduling and consignment handling

Familiarity with TMS and ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Pronto

High-level data entry, scheduling, and record-keeping skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
