About the role

We are currently recruiting for a live in Property manager role based at Nesuto Pennant Hills Apartments. This opportunity would best suit experienced Front Office Duty Managers who are ready to take the next step in their career, with increased responsibility while remaining hands-on in day to day operations.

Day to day Responsibilities

Hands-on approach to management within all areas of the hotel operations

Live onsite and on call after hours

Oversee and coordinate Strata Building Maintenance

Providing all guests and key stakeholders with exceptional customer service

General reception duties including checking guests in/out, making reservations, answering enquiries

Forging a strong relationship with the strata manager, residents and representatives

Prepared to make the call, think outside the box and determined to find a solution

Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance in our apartments and public areas

Day to day maintenance management

Arrange quotations and oversee licensed trades as required

Motivate and create a positive and empowered workplace culture

Flexibility to work with a changing roster including weekends and public holidays

Skills and experience

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Front Office Duty Manager and committed to a future in hospitality. Qualifications in the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded. In addition, we value:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a focus on organisation and high attention to detail

Positive work attitude and able to work in a small team environment

Ability to work unsupervised

Computer skills

A hands on approach and 'CAN DO' attitude

Critical thinking and ‘thinking outside the box'

Experience handling cash and credit card transactions and shift balancing
