About the opportunity
The Commercial Property Manager is an integral member of the Property Management team within University Infrastructure's Property & Development (P&D) Division. The role involves assisting the Senior Property Manager in managing the University's Property Portfolio including revenue and expenditure leases, licenses, support the identification, evaluation, and sourcing of new leasing opportunities to align with strategic business objectives and growth plans and ensuring University managed retailers including vending and micro markets adhere to their performance obligations.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- manage the Lease Administration and contributes to the management of the University's Property Portfolio
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including consumer protection, fair trading, tenancy/licensing obligations, retail leasing, and workplace health and safety standards.
- maintain the Property Management System
- provide financial management support to the Senior Property Manager/ Director, Property & Development
- manage property portfolio reporting
About you
- demonstrated experience in commercial property management and lease/licence administration
- strong experience in management of retail food and beverage
- strong working knowledge of the NSW retail leasing act
- planning, analysis and communication skills together with the ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage numerous and varied demands
- knowledge of property management systems
