Singh Homes was founded almost 15 years ago and currently completes 150–200 custom build projects annually, ranging from greenfield to knock-down rebuild sites. We have proudly received numerous awards in recent years from the Master Builders Association Victoria and continue to invest in innovation and growth with 18 new and under-construction Display Homes, a newly launched Colour Showroom, and a 700m² Head Office extension at Longford Road, Epping.

We are seeking a detail-driven and commercially minded Procurement Officer to join our growing operations team. Based at our Epping Head Office, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement function across our construction, operational, and corporate divisions. You will bring experience, structure, and proactive cost management strategies that support company growth and profitability.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong procurement background in construction or related industries, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about process improvement, vendor management, and driving commercial outcomes.

Supplier & Subcontractor Management -

Establish and maintain a Procurement DMS, cataloguing the full supplier and subcontractor pool by service, quality, price, performance, and capacity. Continuously evaluate incumbent contractors, identify capability gaps, and source new trade partners to meet project and scheduling needs.

Processes, SOPs & SLAs -

Develop and implement clear procurement SOPs and SLAs for all contractor engagements, ensuring these are documented and accessible within the DMS. Foster consistency, accountability, and transparency across all procurement practices.

Financial & Strategic Procurement -

Work with Directors, Finance Manager, and Construction Managers to improve cost efficiencies across the business. Assist in financial forecasting, budget alignment, and quarterly performance reviews, delivering measurable procurement savings and re-setting annual cost targets.

Performance & Continuous Improvement -

Lead quarterly contractor performance reviews to identify and act on continuous improvement opportunities—for both Singh Homes and its subcontractor partners. Compile and analyse procurement metrics to report monthly to the senior leadership team.

Product & Pricing Strategy -

Support product pricing reviews by comparing offerings to competitors, maintaining price files in the DMS, and informing cost vs. value decisions across our build process. Participate in strategic product selection to maximise both client satisfaction and margin performance.

Operational Procurement -

Oversee procurement of corporate operational services and assets including company mobile phones, IT systems, and vehicle fleet. Identify cost and service efficiencies, establish fleet management solutions, and manage associated contracts and performance.

Vendor Relationships & Negotiation -

Build long-term relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers. Negotiate agreements to ensure favourable terms, reliable supply, and high-quality service outcomes for the business.
