Thomson Environmental Systems seeks an experienced and motivated Sales Support Specialist to join our high-performance staff full-time, reporting to the Sales Support Coordinator, and responsible for providing sales support to Category Managers and Territory Managers.
Key duties & responsibilities:
Talking to clients about products and sale enquiries via emails & phone calls
Maintain and update Client Profiles and accounts
Internal Sales, quoting, data entry and support
Process and follow through new sales leads via phone/website enquiry
Tradeshow and event support
Field incoming client enquiries, including requests, updates and account details
Qualifying sales leads
Providing support to the Category Managers & Territory Sales Managers
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the business
High level data entry & reporting
General administration duties – taking messages, answering inbound calls & emails, facility monitor
Experience & qualifications:
Minimum 2 year in a previous sales/high level administration position
Demonstrated sales support experience
Strong skills in all Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently at all levels
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise workload
Ability to work independently and as a team
Sales ERP/CRM software experience – Odoo preferred
Key attributes:
Proven work experience as a Sales development representative or Sales support agent
Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
A team player with high level of dedication.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
High level of emotional intelligence with active listening skills
Ability to job share as required from time to time
