Qualifications & experience
An award-winning and progressive local business is looking for an experienced property; strata manager or legal clerk who can become an integral part of our team.
This role is perfect for the candidate who can handle a fast-paced environment, with outstanding attention to detail, a passion for customer service and ongoing internal improvement.
The successful applicant will be able to use their initiative to streamline the daily workload, manage continual changeable priorities, and enjoy working with people of all types to get the job done.
This is an exciting opportunity for a 'can-do' individual who is ready for a career challenge or change, with flexibility and future opportunities on offer.
This role is made for a professional individual who is well-presented at all times. You will be dealing with both internal colleagues and external clients on behalf of the business owners.
This role is suited to someone who has drive and ambition and who may want to eventually own part of the business.
We are looking for someone with the following qualifications & experience:
2+ years experience as property management, strata management or legal clerk
First class customer service skills - We love & respect our Clients! You need to too (or please don’t apply!)
Proven knowledge and skills across the whole Microsoft Office Suite
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks and priorities
Experience in dealing with external contractors and multi-layered schedules
Demonstrates time management and organisational skills (for themselves and their manager)
Basic mathematical skills
Must have or be prepared to gain Certificate 4 in Property or real estate license in a timely manner
Instinct! Ability to read between the lines and act in the best interest of the company at all times - without being prompted.
Tasks & responsibilities
Daily planning and prioritising: ensuring you accomplish your daily “to do” list without needing prompting or supervision.
Ensuring the owner of the business has everything she needs to conduct her day effectively – set up, follow up and action
Be clear, concise, factual…to the point.
Property Management
Lease document management & lease renewals
Repairs and maintenance management - Work orders and follow up with external contractors and owners
Critical date management (lease expiry, lease renewals, rent reviews, etc), without being asked
Arrears management
Outgoings on-charges and reconciliations
Property inspections
Portfolio management
Customer experience champion:
Being the face and voice of the business
Answering phones and responding to messages and emails in satisfactory time frame
Be responsible for key contact communications with clients (be positive, professional and approachable)
Database & filing management
Reports and presentation preparation for clients
Data entry and CRM maintenance
Answering phones and general office tasks
