Position: HSE Advisor
Company: Principal/Head Contractor
Project: $mulit-billion infrastructure project
Location: FIFO from QLD
Salary: $190-220k TFR + bonus

Responsibilities of the Safety Advisor :

• Assist and support HSE manager in development, implementation, and promotion of a safe, accident free, and healthy work environment
• General HSE admin, record keeping, and reporting, as well as building and maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders including client, Safe Work, OFSC, unions, subcontractors, etc.;
• Ensure legislation is adhered to
• Provide training & advise to team members and subcontractors
• Conduct reviews and risk analysis
• Manage and develop relationships with employees and stakeholders
• Incident investigation and reporting

Relevant Experience required:

• Minimum Cert IV in OH&S
• 4+ years in a WHS role within in the construction industry
• Previous experience working for a head contractor
• Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
• Experience working major projects >$500m - in the energy, LNG, O&G, power generation sector.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
• Excellent communication skills & problem-solving skills
