Due to continued growth and success, we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Joinery Estimator to join our dynamic and friendly team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Estimator with a background in joinery to take ownership of a diverse range of projects. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial and domestic projects, liaising closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret architectural plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates

Understand joinery construction and manufacturing processes

Receive, prepare, and submit tenders for commercial and domestic projects

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers

Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers

Collaborate with internal teams including design, production, and site supervisors

Manage project costs and timelines

Assist with procurement, contract administration, and OHS documentation

Support the design team with approval of shop drawings

Organise and manage defect lists as needed

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in joinery estimating is essential

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and estimating software

Experience with Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, or similar drafting software preferred

Familiarity with contract administration and project coordination tasks
