The Role
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-focused Estimator to join our team. This role is key to driving project sales and ensuring a consistent pipeline of work. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate take-offs and pricing for commercial flooring tenders of all sizes. This position requires a solid understanding of commercial construction and the ability to collaborate with builders, suppliers, clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quantity take-offs using MeasureSquare software

Analyse architectural plans and specifications

Prepare and submit detailed and competitive quotations and tenders

Consult with builders, clients, and suppliers to gather relevant project details

Follow up on submitted tenders and quotes to drive conversion

Collaborate with project managers and internal staff to support workflow

Assist with general office tasks to contribute to a smooth, efficient team environment

What We’re Looking For

Flooring or construction industry experience (preferred but not essential)

Prior estimating experience and strong commercial construction knowledge

Proficiency in MeasureSquare or similar take-off software (highly regarded)

Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work well in a small team

Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Ability to quickly learn and adopt bespoke internal estimating platform / CRM
