We’re partnering with a dynamic and growing business based in Artarmon to find an exceptional Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of HR—recruitment, compliance, payroll, and employee engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• End-to-end Recruitment of both field and office staff through advertising, headhunting, and agency partnerships
• Conducting interviews, managing selection processes, and making hiring recommendations
• Overseeing onboarding and induction of new starters
• Full weekly payroll processing – including super, tax, and long service leave
• Ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation and all employment obligations
• Managing employee relations and performance management matters
• Maintaining the HR portal – including templates, documents, and leave approvals
• Supporting learning and development initiatives
• Promoting employee wellbeing via the Workplace Options platform
• Driving culture and high performance through targeted engagement programs

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Human Resources Manager or standalone HR role
• Previous experience in a trade, construction, or field services-based business is highly preferred
• Proven understanding of Australian employment legislation and modern awards
• Hands-on payroll experience is essential
• Strong interpersonal skills with a people-first, solutions-focused mindset
• High level of discretion, emotional intelligence, and professionalism
• Ability to confidently work onsite with both office and field-based employees
• A proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
